Ha ha, thats my claim to fame, i once did a service on Biff Byfords car cos he lives not far from where i used to work. I was a bit disapointed tho as it was a toyota Picnic, i was expectin him to drive something like a mustang or a cobra, bein the metal god that he is :)

I'm in full on nostalgia mode for some reason tonight. If I start listening to Sherbert though, you have my full permission to slap me.

Wow, that takes me back. Remember us all going to see Skyhooks in concert in Ballarat and they had the blackout and they couldn't perform, so they came out into the audience and started chatting to everyone? Am I wrong in thinking that the actual swear word was on the album? Sure I've heard the song without the big blank gap in it. Just trying to think how many years its been since Shirley died. Got to be going back at least 10 surely.
Cattletruck pmsl. Seen them live with you too, although that's the only song of theirs I can remember.
And some Boom Crash Opera thrown in for good measure. Awww How is that gorgeous cousin of yours anyway. He was truly yummy back in their hey day. Do you still keep in contact with Richard at all, or lose touch over the years? You two were such a cute couple.

I would say with the Skyhooks clip being filmed in the 70's, they wouldn't have been allowed to sing the lyric. Was definately sung in full on the album. Still got the original cassette tape somewhere. Never been much of a Boom Crash Opera fan but Richard could sure play. Is he still in retirement Benj after the medical issues or back gigging?

Haven't seen Richard for a couple of years now, although we still exchange Christmas and Birthday cards. He still writes music, but although the episodes of tinnitus are fewer now, he never managed to get rid of it completely. Shame, because he was one of the best bass players I ever had the pleasure to listen to.
Dale's still gigging round Melbourne Sim, so keep a look out and go up and introduce yourself :)
