| .... after sex?
Is it just the thrill of the chase do you think? They want you when it presents a challenge, but the moment they have you where they want they suddenly pull out a completely different personality?
This isn't directed at any of the guys here please let me point out. Simply wondering why men claim we are so hard to understand, yet they seem capable of having 101 different personalities lying dormant in their brain, 100 of which only come to the fore AFTER you've slept with them.

| I think its definately a predatory thing. Just like the animal kingdom, the male is designed to do whatever he can to ensnare the female and reproduce to keep his species alive. Once they have you, the urgent need to conquest disipates, and the interest wanes. | |

| It's a bit like the chick who is always made up, hair perfect, preened within an inch of her lives, who once she lands the guy doesn't give a rats about any more. Or the woman who wraps the guy around her little finger sexually right up until the ring is on the finger, then bam ....... sexual cold turkey lol.
Anything to take the heat off and not admit that I agree with everything Benj said pmsl.

| It's a cave man thing. They want, they take, then when the challenge is over they really don't give a rats as long as you continue to cook and clean. | |

| It's all about the challenge for the man. Once the challenge stops, their attention starts to waver. Normally in the direction of someone younger, blonder and 10 times thinner! | |

| I think for men it is alot to do with the chase. They seem to be programmed to want what is unobtainable or a challenge, yet lose interest the moment their goal is achieved. But I know some women who do the exact same thing as well. And aren't I being informative today.
Damn this hangover to hell.

| Had this happen to me just recently. Met a guy who for all intensive purposes was perfect for me, had some wonderful dates, the sex was good and then a month later he became an unhygenic, uncaring, selfish 5 minute wham bam thank you mamm arsehole. After thinking I must be doing something wrong in the bedroom and analysising myself to death in case I was coming on too strong emotionally, he fessed up that he got his rocks off with the chase of a new partner and his interest and desire to make her happy went out the window the moment the chase was over. Funny. I'm single again | |
