| I've become a bit of a movie addict since the invention of DVD's but I rarely get emotionally attached to the characters or storylines. Have there been any particular movies and/or movie scenes that have touched your heart so much that you have actually shed a tear? | |

| Sleepless in Seattle. Tragic I know. Oh and 'Big' with a young Tom Hanks. Hmm anyone see a trend developing here? | |

| :nods in agreement on both of those:
My possibly all time favourite with the exception of about a dozen other films :lol!: "may be a bit of a film addict myself" :shifty: is called Powder.. if you haven't seen it, it's one that surprises right from the get go..

| Never heard of that one. May have to google.
There's a couple that make me cry. Anything with a Waylon brother in it, anything with Chevy Chase in it, anything with Paris Hilton in it ................ seeing the patten?

| The end of Braveheart always has me balling I confess, although the majority of the movie itself strayed a little too close from the actual facts to sit well with me. Just don't get me started on Spike's death scene in the final episode of Buffy .... ok, beyond help I know | |

| I'm guility of having a slight Stephen King obsession I admit. Normally I find that the movies/mini series don't do justice to his words, or evoke the same nauseating stomach churning quiver that his novels do, but The Green Mile and The Stand I thought both held up incredibly well in translation. | |

| I hate it when you read an exceptional novel, then Hollywood gets there hands on it and turns it into a commercial piece of crap. | |

| Yeah completely agree, I read the majority of the Virginia Andrews-Flowers in the Attic series & was completely hooked, then I saw the flick & walked out half way through :boooo: :boooo: hahaha | |

| ok normally I am preferring movies that makes me laugh or some fantasy/sci-fi thingies.......... BUT
errrrrrrrr I never thought I would use the word BEAUTIFUL about a movie.......... but uhm eh
well.... I strongly recommend August Rush. it is the most bloody beautiful movie I've ever seen...... it doesn't exactly make it worse that music is a vital part of it either..............
now download, buy it ......whatever, but that is one movie everyone wants to watch
