| hijack your brain and say things that you really don't mean, or does it give you an excuse to say what you otherwise wouldn't have the courage to say? Will be back to answer this myself when I have a shin full | |

| It often gives you that extra oommpphh of bravado that you need to say something that has been weighing heavily on your mind.
And of course it gives you a perfect out the next morning, when you can say "Sorry, I was pissed and don't remember any of it!.

| I learnt the hard way that booze and I don't mix. Got absolutely no control over my temper when I've had too much, which is why I tend not to drink much at all these days. You don't have the self control. | |

| I like a drink although I can't remember the last time I was blind rotten drunk. Yes it does build your confidence but there's a fine line between being confident due to it and comotose. | |

| I tend to get agro as well, and often quite paranoid and jealous so the only drinking I do is usually out with the mates. Besides if I'm with someone I've got better things to be doing with my hands basically | |

| I call it a side effect of being in a band. Used to call it a bonus, now as old age befalls me it's been relegated to 'side effect'.
Still like to drink, still love to party but it's not the most important thing in my life anymore. Kind of over waking up the next morning beside some bimbo and having no idea how I ended up there or what I did. Would like to be around to see 50 so it's time to pull back a little.

| It definately is a great uninhibitor but there's a fine line between being a happy confident tipsy and a sloppy falling down mess hugging a toilet bowl. | |

| I've learnt that alcohol doesn't dull the pain and too much of it sends you to a place you don't want to be in. Need a new hobby. Like knitting maybe. | |

| hm.......... am I the only one who gets only overly happy and absolutely love everybody when drunk????
I turn in to a rather ridiculous SOB after too many shots of tequila running round kissing everyone on their forehead and singing like I've never done before

| Not just you Viking. I am a nauseatingly happy drunk and tend to run around hugging complete strangers and friends alike. I still drink when I go out but I do wonder how my brain cells survived basic Army training intact. Guess we over indulged as the likes of Benj and I were only 17 and yet they let us into the boozer (army slang for bar) so we kind of went a little bit crazy haha. The 'piss runs' the next morning though where the instructors would make the whole platoon run until every single person threw up was a bastard though. | |
