| Did anyone else notice that there used to be a section where you could pose 'techie' type questions to admin that has suddenly disappeared? New to forum boards myself and it was definately a case of there it was one moment, and there it went the next.
Just wanted to ask a couple of 'geek' questions, although in the interim I'll just push stuff until I either crash and burn or work out what I'm doing by default. Computers and I so don't mix munchkins.

| Nah it was there earlier on but can't see it now myself either. I'd offer to help but I still need to consult instructions my 8 year old nephew wrote me in order to turn my freakin pc on and off  Ok someone save me from these damned emoticons. | |

| With the case of the missing 'help' forum still unsolved, can I just leave a couple of questions here that someone else may have discovered the answers too?
Has anyone worked out how to get the signatures to work yet? Or successfully logged into the chat room. I can see messages from people flash up when they are in there, but I keep coming up as disconnected :(
It's probably just me people. Thou shalt not drink and drive a keyboard.
And may I just echo Sair's comments before shutting down for the evening; a mighty fine effort for your first foray into the world of Internet Admin Luka!!

| Oddly enough I can see the 'Help' forum when I log in as Admin, but not when I browse the site as a guest. Perhaps it simply requires a topic to be added to that section before it becomes visible to all. And did I just sound like the biggest geek alive just then? If the power suddenly goes to my head and I start listening to Celine Dion someone please put me out of my misery and shoot me.
The 'signatures' and 'bold, italic' crap seem to be tempermental. Sometimes they work, sometimes they torment the shit out of you. Seems to be just a matter of ensuring you put the code in both before and after your comment.
As for the chat room, Dave and I tested it out late last night when we got back and it seems to be working ok. What we did discover is that your status is shown as online or as in the chatroom for quite a while after you have actually logged out. A lag of about 10 to 15 minutes we estimate. Hope that helps some. Will spend some time today playing around and see what tweaks I can come up with.

| Alrighty it would appear that the Help & Suggestions thread is only appearing from my end, so I'll see if I can delete and redo that section this arvo. Until it's up and running, please feel free to leave any questions here and I'll do my best to track down an answer asap. | |

| For the record I think alot of my issues are my end. Can access the chatroom and change the fonts etc from my work computer (not that I was sitting at work logged on here earlier today or anything  ) but can't from my home one. Too chock full of kidlet games most likely. | |

| Just thought I'd point out, anyone who signs up with a yahoo addy may have trouble with the activation email making its way to them. And I'm wondering if you have to allow pop ups in order to get the chat room functional operational on your computer.
Just a thought from someone who has absolutely no idea what on earth she is doing.
Sorry Sair, can see you chatting away to yourself in there but can't get in to save you.

| Yay, I can see the help section now at long last, and the new icons just came through as well.
Now go and take yourself offline before your eyes turn square and your head starts to rotate and we'll catch you back here tonight maybe.
